Senedd Member, Joel James MS, has this week celebrated Apprenticeship Week Wales 2025 at the Welsh Parliament.
The Member attended an Apprenticeships Fayre organised by ColegauCymru and the National Training Federation for Wales where he was able to meet college exhibitors and training providers across various sectors.
The fayre also provided Joel with an opportunity to take part in hands-on experiences from VR car body repairs to mocktail making allowing him to understand the practical skills apprentices develop throughout their training.
Speaking after the event, Joel said:
It was brilliant to join ColegauCymru and the National Training Federation for Wales to celebrate Apprenticeship Week Wales 2025 at the Welsh Parliament.
While I still have a long way to go with my VR and mixology skills, I enjoyed learning about the various apprenticeships available and how VR technology plays an important role in encouraging young people to begin their apprenticeship journey.
