Senedd Member Joel James MS announces his support for the The Happy Period Project Mislif Hapus- a joint campaign to provide hybrid menstrual kits to those in need by Days for Girls UK and Love Your Period.
The free of charge kits contain disposable and washable menstrual products to support the local community and relieve financial pressure on families particularly leading up to Christmas.
Joel will be reaching out to the local community to highlight the kits as well as the food banks in his region, who could benefit from having these kits available.
Speaking after the visit, Joel said:
It was great to recently meet with Delyth from Days for Girls UK and Molly from The Love Your Period Campaign who have started a joint campaign to provide hybrid menstrual kits to those in need.
The kits are available from my Pontypridd office, please drop me a message if you or someone you know would appreciate a free kit.
