Joel James MS, Member of the Senedd for South Wales Central, today continued his longstanding tradition of donating selection boxes to every child at Maesybryn Primary School in Llantwit Fardre alongside Llantwit Fardre Community Councillors Sam Trask, Karl Johnson and Brian James.
Donating both Cadbury and Haribo selection boxes to students at the local Primary School carries on the yearly tradition for these local community councillors who continue to spread the Christmas cheer this festive season.
Speaking shortly after handing over the selection boxes, Joel said:
It was great to join Cllr Karl Johnson, Cllr Sam Trask and Cllr Brian James at Maesybryn Primary School in Llantwit Fardre this morning and donate selection boxes for all the pupils and staff.
As councillors on Llantwit Fardre Community Council, this is something we've been doing for a number of years now, and it's great to give something back to the community.
It's extra special for me, as Maesybryn was the primary school that I went to - I won't say how long ago that was.
