Senedd Member Joel James MS, has visited Taff-Ely Foodbank ahead of the festive season to meet with staff and volunteers and thank them for the work they do to support the community.
Speaking about the visit, Joel said:
I was grateful to visit Taff-Ely Foodbank in Tylagarw last week and meet with Matthew, Andrew and all the volunteers.
Sadly, 420,000 people face hunger and hardship in Wales with pressures particularly high around Christmas.
Winter is the busiest time for food banks in the Trussell community- foodbanks across RCT, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan would be grateful for any donations to support the community.
