Joel James MS, Senedd Member for South Wales Central has visited Stiwdio 37- a supported employment and enterprise hub in Pontypridd.
Through supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other workplace barriers in RCT, Stiwdio 37 hopes to provide a springboard into other workplaces, providing those who join them with the skills they need to work independently and confidently.
Speaking about the visit, Joel said:
It was great to visit Stiwdio 37 recently in Pontypridd to meet Ruth and the team. They’re dedicated to providing inclusive employment opportunities and supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other workplace barriers in RCT.
As well as helping with skills for future employment, Stiwdio 37 do an amazing job in helping to boost the confidence and independence of the individuals who join them.
Stiwdio 37 currently offer supported work for 6 months in many different areas from catering, cleaning, gardening, administration and even opportunities using 3D printing!
