Today, Joel James MS joined students from Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School on their Senedd tour to take part in a question and answer session about his time being a Member of the Senedd.
As a past student of Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School, Joel was able to share his journey from being a past student of their school to becoming a Member of the Senedd in 2021.
Students asked Joel lots of interesting questions including A-Level choices, why he wanted to become a politician and his thoughts on several topical matters.
Speaking after the session, Joel said:
It was awesome to meet up with students from my old school this week in the Welsh Parliament and take part in a quick Q&A about being a Member.
I left Bryn Celynnog Comprehensive School almost twenty years ago, and it definitely hits home how fast time files - especially when you meet your former French teacher as well.
