Responding to the news that the Prime Minister is looking in to measures to clear the names of sub-postmasters convicted in the Post Office Horizon scandal, Joel James MS, Shadow Social Partnership Minister, said:
It is welcome news that the UK Government are looking into clearing the names of the victims of the Post Office Horizon scandal.
With hundreds of people wrongly convicted and the scandal having such a negative impact on their lives, it is the right call for the government to find a way to correct the wrongs suffered by so many people.
