As part of Joel James MS' social media 'Throwback Thursday' series, the Member has shared a 2022 visit he undertook to Barcud Housing Association in Lampeter.
Barcud is a not-for-profit housing association, with every penny ploughed back into providing first-class homes in communities across Powys, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
During the visit, Joel met with Chief Executive Steve Jones to discuss their affordable housing to rent, rent-to-own and buy in their local communities and also had a tour of both the Creuddyn and Dôl Dalis developments.
Speaking about his visit, Joel said:
It was brilliant to visit Barcud and meet with Steve and the team to discuss their approach to the housing market. They are a housing association that not only specialises in providing rural affordable accommodation, such as at Dôl Dalis, but they had also just opened 'Canolfan Creuddyn', a purpose-built business hub, providing start-up offices, hot desks, and conference facilities.
