South Wales Central Senedd Member, Joel James MS, has today joined his Welsh Conservative colleagues outside the Senedd to stand with farmers across Wales and the UK protesting against Labour's recent inheritance tax announcement.
An estimated 20,000 farmers and their families have today taken part in a huge Westminster rally against Labour’s inheritance tax shake-up announced in last month’s Budget with Welsh Conservatives joining in solidarity from the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.
Speaking after the group photo, Joel said:
I was really proud to join my fellow Welsh Conservatives in the Welsh Parliament today - standing with farmers in protest against Labour's death tax in Westminster.
Only the Conservatives will reverse this terrible and cruel decision which could see the end of countless farms in the United Kingdom.
