Responding to the publication of location maps for category A, B and R coal tips, Joel James MS, Shadow Minister for Social Partnership, said:
While it’s good to see these maps finally published, it’s now time to end the dithering and bring forward coal tip safely legislation.
People living in valley communities are living in fear, and it’s vital that legislation comes forward as soon as possible.
The Welsh Conservatives stand ready to work with Welsh Government Ministers on legislation that will allow coal tips to be securely managed going forward.
