Joel James MS, Senedd Member for South Wales Central has today announced that the Blue Anchor Inn has won Joel's Best Pub Award 2023 for the Vale of Glamorgan.
Speaking after the announcement, Joel said:
With the General Election now over, I thought it would be the perfect time to announce the winners of my ‘Best Pub Award 2023’, which celebrated the Best Pubs across my region of South Wales Central.
Hundreds of nominations were received, with an overall winner and 8 area winners following Welsh Parliamentary constituencies.
I’ll be sharing all the winners over the next week, but today, I’m proud to announce that the winner for the Vale of Glamorgan was the brilliant Blue Anchor Inn.
Congratulations to the entire team, the pub is an asset to the local community and this award is thoroughly deserved.
